Can I make changes to my web page once it is posted live online?
We prefer that you do not, but if something must be changed you will be charged $25 per occurrence. Initially, you will have 2 chances to review/edit your web page. Beyond that, the $25 charge will be imposed..

How long will my web page remain on the site?
Your web page will remain online for the full year of your membership. If and when you decide to renew your membership, you may make changes on your web page at time of renewal. The web page fee is an annual one and must be paid at the time of your Chamber membership renewal. If you decide not to renew membership, your web page will be removed from the Chamber web site.

Must I adhere to the specifications/layout displayed on the sample web page?
We prefer that you try to conform to the sample layout displayed as closely as possible. We are not an ad agency and do not have the resources to customize every single web page, so it is important that you try to adhere to the sample layout. We feel that the specifications we have developed are quite flexible and should provide you with the critical components you need to make your web page compelling and attractive.

What specifications must I adhere to when I submit my web page for layout?
If you wish to include a photo, it must be in a JPEG format, 72dpi. B&W or color OK. Logos must also be in JPEG format, 72dpi. Both photo and logo should be 500 pixels wide. We will resize to fit.

Regarding body copy, we recommend the following: 1 major title with 1 or 2 subtitles. 750 words max.
(See web page sample) The left side of the page can be used for your address, business hours, web site link/s, and business certifications/credentials. The right side of the page can be used to describe your business, coupon/s, menus, etc.

Where will my web page link be displayed?
In the .Somers Chamber Members. header at the top of the Chamber home page, your business can be accessed by both name or category. When displayed, you can then click to the link which will highlight your Chamber web page.

How long does it take to develop my web page once I submit all the required materials?
We will develop your web page, including editing and approvals, over a 30-day period once you have submitted all your particulars. We cannot begin developing your web page until all your materials have been submitted in full. All web pages will be developed in order on a .first come, first serve basis..

Do I need a web page if I already have a web site?
The Chamber web page is not designed to replace or replicate your existing web site if you already have one. Rather, it is designed to specifically enhance your overall business exposure to a growing number of members and non-members who use the Somers Chamber website as a resource for community and business information. If you do not currently have a web site, the Chamber web page provides you with a low cost incentive to reach out to people that want to do business with you. The Somers Chamber web site receives hundreds of inquiries each month so you are encouraged to increase the odds of having your business exposed to an ever-growing number of people.

How much am I charged for a web page?
The web page costs an additional $75 per year and is not inclusive of Chamber membership dues. It is a value-added service provided by the Somers Chamber of Commerce. If you wish to avail yourself of this service, all monies must be paid at the time of membership renewal.

If I decide to withdraw from the Chamber membership, will I get any kind of refund?
No, all monies paid will be forfeited as the work has already been performed. We will remove your web page from the Chamber web site or if you wish, we will leave it online until your renewal anniversary. It is strictly up to you.
